 Don’t help anyone, help yourself!

Don’t tell anyone, work when no one is looking

 You’ve learned enough, now do

You don’t get what you deserve, you get what you conquer

Make yourself rich first, then figure out everything else

Do it yourself before you ask for help

Disappear for 6 months and work on only 1 thing

 Launch it ugly

Every time you feel like quitting, picture your haters laughing at you

Feeling stuck is a signal that you’ve stopped growing

Stop lying to yourself or to other people

Don’t aim to be the best, aim to be yourself

Zoomed in your life is a tragedy, zoomed out it’s a comedy

Move one piece at a time, don’t try to jump steps.

You no longer fight with others, you are now focused on your sh*t

Mastering discipline, especially in areas like trading or life goals, requires consistent practice, clear strategies, and mental fortitude. Here are the key steps to master discipline:

### 1. **Set Clear and Achievable Goals**

   - **Specific Goals:** Clearly define what you want to achieve. Vague goals lead to unclear actions. For example, instead of saying, “I want to be disciplined,” aim for “I want to follow my trading plan without deviation for the next 30 days.”

   - **Realistic Targets:** Set goals that are challenging but attainable. If goals are too far-fetched, you’ll feel discouraged when you don’t achieve them.

### 2. **Break Goals into Manageable Tasks**

   - **Small Steps:** Break larger goals into smaller, actionable tasks. Tackling smaller objectives daily makes the larger goal seem less overwhelming.

   - **Daily Commitments:** Focus on consistency. For example, committing to trade only according to plan every day is more practical than aiming for a large win.

### 3. **Create a Structured Routine**

   - **Daily Routine:** Design a routine that supports your discipline goals. Set times for reviewing the market, studying strategies, and reflecting on performance.

   - **Time Management:** Stick to your routine, making time for both work and rest. Discipline requires balance to avoid burnout.

### 4. **Practice Mindfulness and Self-Control**

   - **Self-Awareness:** Be mindful of your emotions, impulses, and thoughts. Learn to recognize when your emotions might lead you off track, especially in high-stress moments like losses or unexpected market shifts.

   - **Pause Before Acting:** When you feel an urge to deviate from your plan (e.g., impulsive trading), take a moment to breathe and assess the situation logically.

### 5. **Embrace Delayed Gratification**

   - **Reward Yourself Later:** Focus on long-term success rather than immediate satisfaction. In trading, this could mean taking small, consistent profits rather than chasing huge wins that may lead to losses.

   - **Build Patience:** Understand that discipline is a long-term process. Trust that the results will come with consistency.

### 6. **Hold Yourself Accountable**

   - **Track Your Progress:** Keep a journal or log of your daily efforts. Write down whether you followed your plan, what you learned, and where you struggled.

   - **Review Regularly:** Reflect on your successes and failures to understand where you can improve. This will reinforce what is working and help adjust your plan when necessary.

### 7. **Learn to Say “No”**

   - **Reject Temptations:** Discipline often involves turning down tempting but unproductive behaviors. In trading, this could mean saying “no” to impulsive trades or chasing the market after a loss.

   - **Stay Focused:** Be mindful of distractions that derail you from your disciplined path, whether they are mental (emotions, overconfidence) or external (market noise, social media).

### 8. **Develop Mental Resilience**

   - **Accept Failures as Learning Opportunities:** Mistakes and setbacks are part of the process. Instead of being discouraged, view them as chances to improve your discipline.

   - **Build a Growth Mindset:** Approach every challenge as an opportunity to grow and get better. This will help you stay disciplined even when things don’t go as planned.

### 9. **Leverage Positive Reinforcement**

   - **Celebrate Small Wins:** Reward yourself for staying disciplined, even in small ways. Positive reinforcement strengthens the habit of discipline.

   - **Positive Self-Talk:** Encourage yourself with affirmations. Tell yourself, “I am disciplined and can stick to my plan,” even when it feels difficult.

### 10. **Surround Yourself with the Right Environment**

   - **Limit Negative Influences:** Avoid people or situations that make it harder for you to stay disciplined. In trading, this might mean unfollowing social media traders who encourage impulsive decisions.

   - **Find Support:** Connect with a community or accountability partner who shares your goals and values discipline.

### 11. **Exercise Discipline in Other Areas of Life**

   - **Transfer Discipline Skills:** Practicing discipline in your daily routine, fitness, diet, or personal habits can strengthen your overall ability to stay disciplined. The more you practice discipline, the more it becomes a part of your identity.

   - **Stay Healthy:** Proper sleep, exercise, and nutrition improve focus, which in turn supports your ability to stay disciplined.

### 12. **Use Tools and Technology**

   - **Set Alarms and Alerts:** Use alarms or notifications to remind yourself to follow your trading plan or goals.

   - **Automation:** In trading, use automated stop-losses, take-profits, or software that executes trades based on predefined strategies. This removes emotional decision-making and reinforces discipline.

### 13. **Stay Committed in the Long Term**

   - **Be Persistent:** Discipline is built over time, not overnight. The key is to stay committed and consistent, even when you face setbacks.

   - **Reassess and Adjust:** Discipline doesn’t mean rigidity. As you grow, reevaluate your strategies and goals, and adjust them for better performance.

### Key Points to Remember:

   - **Discipline is a Skill, Not a Trait:** Anyone can develop discipline with consistent practice and the right strategies.

   - **Discipline Breeds Success:** The more disciplined you are, the more successful you’ll become, both in trading and in other areas of life.

   - **Focus on the Process:** Mastering discipline is about improving the process, not focusing solely on the results.

With commitment and consistent practice, you can master discipline and use it to achieve both your short-term and long-term goals, especially in trading.

IP prefix-list

IP prefix-list ip prefix-list provides the most powerful prefix based filtering mechanism Here is a quick little tutorial on Prefix-lists for you. A normal access-list CANNOT check the subnet mask of a network. It can only check bits to make sure they match, nothing more. A prefix-list has an advantage over an access-list in that it CAN check BOTH bits and subnet mask - both would have to match for the network to be either permitted or denied. For checking bits a prefix list ALWAYS goes from left to right and CANNOT skip any bits. A basic example would be this: 172.16.8.0/24 If there is only a / after the network (no le or ge) then the number after the / is BOTH bits checked and subnet mask. So in this case it will check the 24 bits from left to right (won't care about the last 8 bits) AND it will make sure that it has a 24 bit mask. BOTH the 24 bits checked and the 24 bit subnet mask must match for the network to be permitted or denied. No we can do a range of subn...
